Barre is a multifaceted fast-paced exercise that gives way to a well rounded physical practice. A combination between ballet barre, yoga, and Pilates this stretch and strength training technique is beneficial to bodies of all shapes and sizes. This all level practice is inviting to those wishing to get some variation to their work out and those looking to build full-body strength in a fun high energy environment.
This two day course is intended for teachers wishing to teach Barre in Studios and Gyms, and students who wish to dive deeper into alignment and anatomy. This Training is a great addition to those teachers that already have certifications in other styles of fitness and yoga. Students will learn barre related anatomy, class sequence, exercise science, pose alignment, and musicality. With real time practice in cueing and timing students will learn how to lead the room though an entire class. This program will emphasize how to lead a class by teaching instructions, verbal cuing, and hands on corrections. Program participants will also learn how to modify exercises to clients with injuries.
Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a Barre teaching certification that is NASM and AFAA certified, which is required for teaching Barre classes by most Studios and Gyms.
